Beautifully Broken

There were many things that happened in my life that caused me to be "broken" and I spent so many years wishing my story had been different. More than anything I wanted not to have a "story" at all. I wanted uneventful, normal, nothing that would raise eyebrows or elicit sympathy. But the truth is I've had many opportunities to reach out to others who have been broken too and if I've been able to help in some small way then it gives purpose to the pain.

There is beauty in the broken. We only need to be willing to see it.
